Finished 2nd in Series NEW MOON

So, I finished NEW MOON late Fri night and I've started the next in series ECLIPSE by Stephenie Meyer. Yep I'm hooked admittedly. This truly is a great series. The exciting suspense and action-adventures drew me in and I found myself turning pages faster and faster. I'd have to say that so far I enjoyed reading NEW MOON even more-so than the first TWILIGHT. Though, I can hardly wait for the first movie of the TWILIGHT series to be available. If you haven't started this amazing series, it's definitely a recommendation from me.

Description of NEW MOON:
Legions of readers entranced by Twilight are hungry for more and they won't be disappointed. In New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural twist. The "star-crossed" lovers theme continues as Bella and Edward find themselves facing new obstacles, including a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a deliciously sinister encounter with Italy's reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.

TWILIGHT movie update: MTV Interview w-Rachelle Lefevre=Victoria
Prior to the above interview was MTV Interview w-Kristen Stewart=Bella
Following that interview was in response Rachelle's comments in response to Kristen's

If you didn't already know this was posted on Stephenie's Official Site on February 23, 2008:

Two items to discuss. The first and most important is a note from Elizabeth, Stephenie's publicist: "We"ll be announcing Stephenie's tour schedule for The Host (NOTE from Blog author: see below posted) during the week of March 10th. The tour will kick-off on May 6th, the publication date for The Host, and will run through the month of May. Stephenie will be visiting Minneapolis, Kansas City, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, Portland, Los Angeles and San Diego.

All events will be ticketed and we will post the complete tour schedule, including how to obtain tickets, the week of March 10th. Please note, Stephenie will not be doing a large tour for Breaking Dawn, so if she is in your city for The Host you should take this opportunity to see her now!"

Have a great day!

DID YOU KNOW? The Host by Stephenie Meyer (for adults) out May 6, 2008!

February 13, 2008
Stephenie was given permission by the publishing company to post an excerpt from The Host. Click here to read the excerpt. About a month before The Host comes out, I will write my highly-anticipated review for everyone to read. But, for now, let me just say that, in my humble, webmaster-y opinion, The Host is even better than Eclipse (my favorite of the first three of the Twilight series). Read the excerpt, and I'm guessing that you'll want to pre-order The Host like I did.

Description of THE HOST:
The author of the Twilight series of # 1 bestsellers delivers her brilliant first novel for adults: a gripping story of love and betrayal in a future with the fate of humanity at stake. Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. The earth has been invaded by a species that take over the minds of their human hosts while leaving their bodies intact, and most of humanity has succumbed.Wanderer, the invading "soul" who has been given Melanie's body, knew about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the too vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind.Melanie fills Wanderer's thoughts with visions of the man Melanie loves-Jared, a human who still lives in hiding. Unable to separate herself from her body's desires, Wanderer yearns for a man she's never met. As outside forces make Wanderer and Melanie unwilling allies, they set off to search for the man they both love.Featuring what may be the first love triangle involving only two bodies, THE HOST is a riveting and unforgettable novel that will bring a vast new readership to one of the most compelling writers of our time.
