My tribute to TWILIGHT

Ok, so I finished reading the novel TWILIGHT by Stephenie Meyer and I liked it a lot! I wasn't sure at first when I started reading it that I would... as it was a little slow in the beginning and as the reader it was a bit obvious this was Ms Meyer's first novel. With that in mind, I had to put my blinders on so-to-speak when it came to literacy. I have to do that at times with novels I read for pure enjoyment and entertainment value only. It's hard to do sometimes, but with practice it improves. I have to admit, I really enjoyed the story and the characters. The characters came alive for me and I cared about them and wanted to know what was going to happen next. It became a page-turner for me and before I knew it I was finished and starting the second in the series NEW MOON.

I'm including a few inserts for those other readers who also enjoyed the novel as much as I did.

I've also included a link to Ms Meyer's myspace page if anyone is interested: Stephenie Meyer and here's a link to Ms Kristen Stewart's page: Kristen Stewart and this is where I saw Kristen for the first time on Lifetime TV: http://www.mylifetime.com/on-tv/movies/speak movie is titled SPEAK -and Kristen was great in this movie.

TWILIGHT Trailer - ok so it's not the actual trailer, it involves clips from other films the actors were in... but if you click on the link I have above for Kristen, you'll see on her site, she posted a clip almost identical, it's a bit longer -that her friend made for her in relation for TWILIGHT. It does have a good feel for the mood of TWILIGHT though which I thought was pretty interesting.

I'm really glad that you enjoyed the book! Let me know how you like New Moon. The 'tidbit' I was going to tell you yesterday, was that it's depressing for a good portion of the book. It's also just sad because you feel her emotions. I had teary eyes a lot.

BTW - the movie 'preview' isn't the true preview. it's a fan-made mixture of the actors' previous movie clips (like Kristen's movie clips are from 'Messengers' & some of the guy's clips are from 'Harry Potter'). Looks pretty cool the way they did it though, huh? I saw it on youtube last week. Ben says he saw 'X-Men' clips in it too. Pretty funny. The movie just started filming this month. Can't wait to see the real preview.

I didn't get a chance to see the clip of Stephenie Meyer yet. Going to bed, will have to check back tomorrow. Love the pics you found!
