First of all, this last week I've experienced quite a bit of stress at work and racing here and racing there. Sometimes I just feel there isn't enough hours in a day! Jeesh! I want to do it all, and I know I just can't. It's frustrating at times.
I've been busting my butt at work trying to catch up on processing/certifying files and no matter how hard I work, I tend to have a file here and there that require so much attention and research to process it accurately. Grrrr. And that time spent researching is definitely not wasted, but it certainly puts me behind in how many files I certify. Grrr again.
Plus when we have a meeting here and there... I get anxious because I want to get back to my desk and catch up on files! Seems I'm always lagging behind in a sense, and yet when I talk with others, I find that I'm in the same boat with them. So I know I'm not alone in this at work, and yet I want desperately to be where it is expected I am supposed to be- doing so many files/day. Ugh.
So if any of you try to contact me during my work shift, and I don't either answer the call or reply back with a text, you'll now know why. I do try to respond when I can, so please don't feel you cannot try to reach me, as it's not always the case. And sometimes, by golly, I WELCOME that interruption/break.
It's exhausting at times, working on these files for many hours straight. I sometimes skip my breaks/lunch and keep plowing away. So please don't hesitate if you do want to contact me k. If I don't respond, at least I listen to the messages if on voice mail, and read the text messages... perhaps when I'm taking a ladies' room break or whatever.
Sooooo, last night when I received the text from Tony to meet him at Subway after work, I was delighted. We met up around 10:45pm-11pm and actually chatted away until 4am! YEP 4am! We had a fun time and our server actually made a comment as he had already given us our bill and we called him over at around 2:30-3am for more munchies and drinks! LOL. He couldn't believe we were still there and commented that we could take over his shift since we're there about as long as it is anyway! Har har! We all had a good laugh at that comment. :)
Well, I'm off to get ready to head over to Tony's for watching videos! I really enjoy his company and we always have a good time.
I'll write more later.
Hugz to Ya'll,
Christy :)
