Ok so here are my answers...
1. Hmmm, what was I doing 10 yrs ago? That would be Apr 20, 1998... and probably a time period I'd rather not remember. So, ummm sorry nothing positive to write about this time period that I can think of. I remember only a couple weeks after this I went to Vegas to see my best friend, the love of my life, marry someone else... so, I was not happy at this time. Needless to say I didn't even make it to the family dinner, wedding, or anything of it. I was pretty depressed. A lot of other things started to fall apart in my life at this time. Sorry, no happy memories, sniff sniff. (It was a sad period)
2. 5 Things on my To Do List... (1) Get moved out of my apt, (2) find a place to live, (3) save money for school for next year, (4) Lose weight/get in shape again- to feel better about my health etc, and (5) Live without fear and follow my dream to do make-up.
3. What would I do if I was suddenly a billionaire...first I'd breathe and sigh, probably cry for awhile, and take care of all debt. Then I'd want to play for awhile. Buy a home. Disappear and go visit places in the world I've never been to... including places where family and friends are living. I'd go to school and learn, learn, learn. It would be nice to be able to go to school full time and not have to worry about bills. I'd invest a bit of it to secure my future. I'd give a few close friends and a couple family members some money to help them. I'd also like to hire a personal trainer to guide me in my health/exercise to be in better health/shape physically etc.
4. My favorite snack foods...well, I like most food...and depends on where I'm at in life. Lately I've been eating a lot of junk food. When I get super stressed I eat like a horse. When I'm in healthier condition, I eat different snacks. When it comes to junk food, I enjoy sweets. I LOVE chocolate. I like cookies, etc... but I also enjoy all veggies... fruits etc. I love celery, carrots, anything crunchy that I can dip in something, or eat plain. I also love blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, peaches, apples, etc. I also enjoy ice cream on occasion. I don't really eat it much anymore because the dairy doesn't sit well with me anymore. So I enjoy a yummy pie, cobbler, whatever. Oh, I know, I cannot turn down a brownie for the life of me. I love brownies esp right out of the oven. I can't tell ya how many times I've burnt the top of my mouth because I had to eat one right out of the oven while super gooey - mmmm yum. I prefer plain brownies... no frosting. Maybe a bit of powder sugar on top...but otherwise the plainer the better. :)
5. Places I have lived...uh oh, Merrianne I think I have you beat on the number of different places I've lived... I can't remember all the addresses... so I'll list the cities (since there are multiple locations in multiple cities lol) (1) Glendale/Phoenix, (2) Mesa AZ, (3) South Tempe AZ, (4) North Scottsdale AZ, (5) and mission...two different ones: Minnesota - Plymouth, Alexandria, Arden Hills/St Paul, (6) Michigan - Monroe, Dearborn, and Pontiac, and (7) one summer in Modesto CA.
6. Favorite Quote: I have lots of favorite quotes, but I don't memorize them so I'll have to come back and fill this in later... I like inspiring quotes. Quotes that make one think and ponder. I like quotes that influence one to do good/be better. Anything philosophical. Quotes by Ghandi, Mother Teresa, influential people... anything that one can personally relate to/with. I like quotes by Einstein.
A few quotes below by Henry Miller:
I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.
A balance between self and others.
Zen in its essence is the art of seeing into the nature of one's own being.
It is impossible to exist without affecting others in both positive and negative ways.
For a conscious being, to exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly.
(Henry Miller)
Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.--Albert Einstein
It is never too late to be what you might have been.--George Eliot
7. Favorite things to eat... I love all food... probably easier to list what I don't like haha... I don't like bacon (ew), liver, not a big fan of ham, but sometimes I surprise even myself and want it once in a blue moon, I like onions but my stomach doesn't agree with them... I really like sushi, seafood, mexican, thai, hungarian, middle eastern foods, chinese, sometimes italian, i love subway subs... i like chicken wings, a hamburger once in a while with fries of course, and maybe 1-2 times a year I'll eat red meat - a nice medium done steak... otherwise, I do like meat/potatoes, I like Cracker Barrel, I love lamb/couscous, etc (moroccan food) When it comes to pizza I've always preferred chicago style (super thick bread) and recently I've discovered brooklyn style pizza and totally luv it!...I'm pretty easy to please. lol.

YAY :)
I loved reading this!!!!!
I do not like Red Meat very often, either--I usually only crave it when it is "that time of the month"...I guess it's because I am really feeling BARBARIC!! (ha ha!)
Those Quotes were Great!!
Hope you are getting everything done & finding a GOOD place to live.
Hugz,
MErrianne
I know what you mean M-girl about those moments of feeling barbaric etc. I've certainly been there before. LOL.
Glad you enjoyed the quotes too. I enjoyed reading them myself.
I met two different homeowners Sunday afternoon... and I think I've made a decision. I say I think, cuz Tony has helped me in this direction... and I'm just thinking it through more-so to be sure it's the decision I ultimately want. Both homeowners I met are both great people and the situations are perfect for me at this time. So it's a tough decision. Tony gave me his thoughts and I agree with him. So more than likely I'll be making two phone calls sometime during the day (Monday) today. It's after 1am and I'm still up. I don't like giving bad news to anyone and I'll have to tell one of these people that I've chosen the other. Uck. I hate being the bearer of bad news. And yet I get to give one of them great news. So it's both good and bad. I'm happy to have had the opportunity to have a choice actually. So, yay! Looks like the search for a room is over.
I'll be living in Mesa still and oddly enough I'll be on the other side of Stapley across from Andrea's home. So I'll be even closer to family. I'll be a good bike ride away from the nieces/nephews. Too bad you guys aren't still here. Oh well.
The other location is in Chandler which is not far from my work at all, so that was a great location too.
It has been a tough decision, but I'm very grateful to have been given the choice. And esp to have two great people to have to choose from... so it's been tough but good.
A big load lifted off of being able to find a place to move. I still have a great deal of more packing to do yet, as I still have the kitchen items (food, pots/pans, dishes/cups/tupperware, etc) and all my clothes, and more little things to pack up and take trips to the storage unit each day before work. It's gonna be another busy week finishing up and cleaning the entire apt. -sigh- almost there though... whew.
Hugz,
Christy ;)
